We know that sound travels because when we make a sound at one side of the room we can hear it at the other side.

The question is 'How does sound travel?

Research and Experements

You will need to carry out experiments to investigate sound travel.

Your group will carry out one of these experiments and explain then to the rest of the class.

For the experiments you need to first make a plan, list what you need, how you will make it safe, plan when and where you will carry the experement out, think about how you will record your results. Talk to your teacher before you start, show your teacher your plan.

For the research you need to think how best to present the information, you really need to know what it means discuss it with your group and decide the best way to explain it. You may need to draw diagrams write text etc.
