Food, Marietta and Stome Mountain
I went for a day's sightseeing.
We started with a Southern lunch, I had Southern fried fish, turnip greens, fried okra, salad and a corn bread stick. After that we went to Marietta first to see the giant Chicken, which is a local landmark and then to Marietta Square. The square is quite old fashioned reminiscent of old US movies.
We then drove out to and climbed Stone Mountain which is the largest block of exposed granite in the USA a quite amazing place with great views.
This is a Gallery for the McClure - Sandaig Poems Round the World project.
