The Beginnings of a Connection

Thursday 31 January 2008 at 6:10 pm Teachers Carol Fuller of Sammy McClure, Sr. Middle School, USA and John Johnston from Sandaig Primary in Glasgow Scotland met online when they worked on the Dream Dragon Project. Mrs Fuller's class took some poems from the Sandaig poety blog and turned them into a marvellous play The Dream Dragon.
Mrs Fuller has since moved to McClure and is being honored by Woodruff Arts Center in the Woodruff Salutes Georgia Arts in Education Leaders scheme. Mr Johnston is lucky enough to be invited as Mrs Fuller's guest and will be popping across the Atlantic.
While he is there he will be visiting McClure Middle School and we will be starting some international collaboration. Watch this space for all the details.
