Primary 2s have been making rafts for the toys and play topic. Have a look at the photos of how they made and tested their great boats.

How does our Garden go is a new picture gallery at Sandaig. Each day one primary six goes to the Sandaig Garden and takes a few photos. They choose one to post to the How does our Garden go gallery.
Hopefully this will let visitors to our site see how the garden changes through the season and it will also let the children experiment with photography.
You can leave comments on the photo and let the children know what you think.

I've just uploaded the latest edition of Radio SandaigA special episode by Primary 7. This podcast is about 'The Mix' a special week in Sandaig where the children were mixed to discuss our school values.
+ 1 - 0 | § ¶Sandaig Newsletter February 2008 - Health Week
Hot off the press, your children should have one of these in their bags this afternoon. The main news is Health Week, which is next week.
Events include:
- Monday 3 March - Cookery Demonstration - Healthy burgers. A company is coming to show P5,P6&P7 how to prepare and cook healthy burgers.
- Tuesday 4 March - Skipping - The whole school will be given an opportunity to learn skipping skills from professional coaches.
- Wednesday 5 March -Massage - P3 & P4/5 will be given instruction on massage. Children will learn how to massage each other on hands and arms (permission slips will be issued for this). Basketball - P5, P6 & P7 will take part in a basketball road show.
- Thursday 6 March -Kelvin Hall - The whole school is going to the Kelvin Hall for a morning
- of sport. All children will go along to the Kelvin Hall where we have organised a potted sports event. Parents are welcome to attend but will need to make their own transport arrangements.
- Friday 7 March - Theatre Group - A show entitled “Stephen’s Expanding Stomach” will finish off our week of activity.

Radio Sandaig January 2008 is out. Radio Sandaig January 08, news and views from the children of Sandaig Primary Glasgow. A lot of jingles in this show as Garageband is enabling the children to be even more creative.

Radio Sandaig October 2007 is out. This is our first podcast of the session, with a couple of old primary sevens and a new bunch of primary sixes. We are now trying GarageBand rather than Audacity and the podcast features some GarageBand music by one of the primary Sevens.Radio Sandaig October 2007, School new and reports, garageband music for the children of Sandaig primary school in Glasgow. This is our first podcast with Garageband and the first for this years primary sixes.
