Scobies are multi coloured plastic strings. You can make things from the scobies by weaving them in criss cross patterns. You can make square, circle and chinese stair patterns. With these you can make lots of things, like, bangles, key rings, and pens.
You can buy scobie books to help.
It can be quite tricky and challanging, but is is great fun.

scobbies are realy cool i think im the only boy in my scool that nows how to do them and im the fastest we had this scobbie stealer for abourt a week the person was coming up and the bag area and snipping the scoobies of bags me and my frineds wanted to know who it was so i got all my scoobies(24 in my first week) and put them on my bag then at lunch time me and my friends hided in the bag area then this girl in grade 3 or 4? + i think shes a retard or a.d.d she comes and leans on my bag for abourt 20 seconds then she runs down the stairs and into the grade 3 4 area and we saw her put the scoobies in a bag (hers) so we told miss wood aw depity and she got in huge troble and i got my scoobies back the next day my friends go up to her and say your the scobies thief shes says no im not you f&#^ing F#%s (???GRADE 3 ???) then we ask how many scoobies do you have she says 80 we say do you make them shes says she buys them already made from toys r us LOL!!! anyway shes not aloud in the grade 7 area and her mum found all the scoobies she stole the end ps scoobies nerly got baned at ow scool becuase of her!!!!!!!robert - 19 March '06 - 03:52
