A trunk:like a slinky,
ready to spray him.
Huge mountain in the green,
Elephant I heard you calling. Eyes:
like beads,
there to glare.

Tusks:
shaped like a scimitar,
ready to defend him.
Huge mountain in the green,

Skin:
like children's greasy prints,
pressed into his skin.

wow1 you would never think such young people could write up such amazing peices of writing. as an english teacher myself, i must say that i have never seen such dedicated and descriptive writing in my 13 years at teaching at a high school. well done to everyone

Thanks for you comments. The children who wrote these poems have now left Sandaig and hopefully continuing their brilliant writing at Secondary School.
