14 09 07 Primary Three Families
Primary three made some characters. First we drew the people, then we thought about their names, age and what they liked. We made houses we used paper, crayons, glue sticks and scissors.
We made a road for the houses to go on.
We have been talking about how much rubbish the people have put in the bins.
We want to keep the street nice and clean.

I think the street is a lovely looking street, and I agree that it is important to keep our streets tidy and clean. This is good for the environment and I think it makes our streets better places to live.

Your houses look very interesting and the people look friendly and fun. In Primary 4 in Galashiels we’ve been looking at the environment too and thinking how to keep it healthy and free from litter. Do you think that posters help people to remember not to drop litter?

Thanks to Everyone for looking at our blog. We have been doing more stuff on our Street. We have decided to call it Hilltree Street.
We think that posters are a great idea to stop people dropping litter.
We are going to add more things to our street.
