I've replaced the original flv video with QT after David's comment. The movie was a bit to short for my flash player. There was certainly more laughter at this event than any other I was at today. The eyetoy game left Mr W and myself puffing. But during the fun you could see lots of teachers thinking there is a lot more to this than they had though before. Derek is going to have his work cut out keeping up with all the requests for gaming help in the classroom.

Caught you blogging this …I think. :-)

It’s a shame the true experts (the pupils) weren’t able to get near the games because the teachers were hogging the controller! It’s also a shame that nobody seems to have captured our brilliant rendition of that Cheap Trick song on Guitar Hero,

Oops… meant to say that, for me at least, the video crashes out almost as soon s it starts.

A great idea for sett the big screen games were a revelation. I will need to get in training to avoid defeat in the athletics again. Unfortunately I could not identify the song on Guitar Hero which I do not think is my game.
I’ve fixed the video (I hope) as such an important educational resource should not be lost;-)
