Sandaig Otters  -

06 Mar '07 - Sandy and Skippy

Last Friday Sandy and Skippy met up in primary 6 S/J. Skippy was left in Sandaig by Mrs P as a present from the Allstars to Sandaig.

On Saturday Mr Johnston sent Sandy off to Australia as a present to the Allstars.
The Allstars will show Sandy round their school and we will show Skippy round Sandaig. We will post photos of Skippy in our school.

I can’t wait till we get Sandy!Here is some info on river otters: River otters belong to the Weasel family. They usually grow 1.4m in length and 13.5kg in weight. They usually eat fish and also eat insects and frogs and ocasionally small mammals.Their preditors are wolves and coyotes, but their biggest threats are humans. I hope this info is helpful. Naomi
