Burns assembly
Today both sevens did a Burns assembly.
We did 4 songs and 7 poems. We did
A Red, red Rose, Rantin’n ‘ Rovin’ robin,
Scots Wha Hae and Auld Lang Syne for
Our songs and to a mountain daisy,
To a mouse, address to Unco Guid,
A man’s a man for all’ that,
Address to toothache,
The Deils Awa wi the exciseman
And Tam O’ Shanter for our poems.
A boy dressed up as Robert Burns,
He had a lot of props he wasvery funny
And was good at acting out Robert Burns.

Help! Said the traveller kicking the moon lit door.
With wolf’s howling at the moon light
And trees screeching of the window pain and the walls.
Help! Said the traveller once again with more fear.
With a owl flying above his head
And Statues looking at him about to jump off there stands.
LET ME IN! Shouted the traveller bashing
The pain glass window he then ran to the
Back and broke down the door.

Tartan is a material that can be woven from many colours. It can be made into patterns.
It was originally found in Ireland.
People from Ireland brought it to Scotland and gave Scotland its name.
It is made of crisscrossed horizontal and vertical bands. It is made by a thread going under and over other threads.
Tartan is used for making kilts

If I could go to any place in the world it would be Spain. it is very famous for bull fighting it is when people go to big rings and over 1000 people go to see them. I would watch it,I would go swimming and I would go on the beach.
