You are going to find out about a particular EU country, everyone will have a different country.
First get a picture of the flag for your country, go to Flags of All Countries Save it to your folder so you can upload it to your blog. Make sure you include the atribution, you can copy the link from the flags web site.
Next go to Simple WikiPedia and find out information about your country. Find out, its size, population, the capital city and the language the people speak. Find out when the country joined the EU and one other interesting fact.
Add the information to your blog.

If you finish, check your comments, visit some other school blogs and see what they are doing.

  • Type up your poem based on The Listeners in word.
  • Check spelling and punctuation
  • Copy the poem and post it to your blog.
    • Go back to the word version, format it nicly and print it off
  • Choose a name from the box on my desk, read that persons Listeners poem comment using 2 (star) and a (wish). Think about WILF!


    • When you finish check your blog for comments and then read some of the blogs in the sidebar.

    Here are some questions to think about. You may have other ideas as well.
    • What is tartan?
    • Where does it come from? Who invented tartan?
    • How is it made? What from?
    Copy the questions into a word file, find the answers and paste them in.
    Change the Questions and Answers into a piece of writing about Tartan (use your own words, make sure you understand what you are writing).
    Go to the Interactive weaver and make your own tartan design. Save it to your folder. Resize the image and post it and your writing to your blog.
