		<title>Robert Burns Assembly</title>

		<summary type="text">Today was our Burns assembly. It was a bit late because we go to college on Friday’s, so we had to do it today when we had time. We sang lots of Burns songs and poems such as; A Red, Red Rose, To a Mouse, Rantin Rovin Robin and many more. To be precise we did 4 songs and 7 poems. In the assembly I was a Narrator. A boy from our class played as Robert Burns. He was quite good and remembered   all of his parts even though he only got told them on Tuesday. For our songs one of our Teachers played the keyboard. I did the poem called, ‘The Deil’s Awa Wi’ Th’ Exciseman. During some of the speeches made by the narrators and me, the boy playing as Rabbie acted out what the narrators were speaking, such as when To A Mouse was being explained He acted as if he turned up a mouse in its house and pretended to write the poem. It went really well and most of Teachers commented. The Teacher who played the keyboard for us got a box of chocolates. The assembly lasted about 45 minutes and was quite tiring.

We are not the only school going, we are going to college with another school called St.Stephens. At the bridge we got split in 2 groups. One group went upstairs and made part of the song we are making. We are making a song about friendship. The other group was downstairs and they made actions for the song. The people that do this with us are called Morag, Maggie, Joyce and Megan.</summary>

		<summary type="text">On Thursday we had art. We were told to do a technique called take the dog for a walk. We had to make different sections
by just moving the chalk in and out of a circle. We had to make sure the sections were big and not to small. We had to draw different patterns inside the shapes. Then we made a border out of black and white paper.You got a white strip of paper and cut strips of black paper and stuck it on top of the white strip. We coloured in the background of the outside of the picture.</summary>
