31 01 08 14:05Burns Assembly

Today we were doing our Burns assembly six days late. I was a narrator with Josh, Charlene, Nicole, Karen, Chelsea, Conner, and Scott. We sang four songs and did seven poems (altogether). The first song was Rantin n’ Roven Robin which is about his birthday. The second song was A Red, Red Rose which is a love poem. The third one (which is my favourite one) Scots Wha Hae which is his impression of what Robert the Bruce might have said before his Scottish army defeated the English army. And the last song was Auld Lang Syne. The first poem was To a Mountain Daisy which is what happened when Rabbie ran over a daisy with a plough. The second poem was To a Mouse which is when he ran over its nest. We finished our assembly by singing Auld Lang Syne.

My Lamarck
There was a young man of Fake
He was baking a wedding cake
As he slit it open
It all came down foaming
That unhappy young man of fake

22 06 07 14:46Haiku Poems

The bees are flying
The are almost stinging so
Avoid there stingers
Apples grow on trees
Babies do not
So worship mammals
Roasting in the daytime
Warm at night and to hot
Schools out thank the school.
Today we went out to the garden and wrote down some poems. We had an inspiration from some poems out of “The Works”. We Got the chalks from our friend in America.

18 06 07 12:15Friend Ship Day

On Wednesday all the P6s went to The Bridge and so did ST Stephens. When we got out of the bus we saw the children form ST Stephens a couple of seconds ahead of us. When we got in the bridge we went into this room and it was called the Auditorium. The children from ST Stephens looked like they had been in the Auditorium for hours and hours but they had only been in there for about 2 seconds. The teachers came round with stickers with faces on them the faces were was purple, red and yellow. I was in the Yellow group. Then when got into our groups there were a lot of red and purple people but hardly any yellows. Then we played a game and it was about how to judge people and how not too. After that we did graffiti art and we got a book of graffiti so we knew what designs we could do. We did that for about 1 hour. Then we went behind the curtains and there were two men. They were there because we were going to be doing break dancing. We did lots of moves the one that sticks out in my mind was the freeze. After the break dancing we moved on to logos. The logos were about friendship.

12 06 07 14:43Going to Nursery
Today I went to nursery to see who would be my buddy next year, when I am in p7. When we first got in I was nervous seeing my old nursery again. I think they got rid of the house because when I was in the purple group I got to play in it all day long.I was asking 4 year olds to help me round because it has changed so much. When we got partnered up with the buddys I think my buddey was scared of me but when I got to know them they were fine. I said to the teacher that was taking us "I feel like 4 again".
