Tartan is to do with the word kilt, some people think of kilt as a type of dress.
Tartan is a material that can be woven from many colours.
Tartan is a pattern made of of crisscrossed horizontal and vertical threads of lots of colours.
Tartan came from Ireland, and it was then introduced to the then unnamed country of Scotland by the Scots. It was them who gave Scotland its very own name.

The country I would visit would be New York. New York is famous for the statue of liberty; it is in the USA (united states of America) away from the United Kingdom. The weather would be like sunny, cloudy or there would be a tornado or a hurricane, I would like to visit this country because I would see some brilliant places like museums, central park, schools and don’t forget the statue of liberty and I would like to see the movies they would make.
