"Can you let me in said," the traveller shaking
on the gate outside
Then a rat ran right past the travellers feet
and the traveller got a fright.
He chapped on the door once again,
Then heard floorboards creaking for outside.
So he knew someone was in the house,
So he chapped it once again.
And said ‘let me in now’
Then he stood on a twig and then got a fright again.
So he looked through a cracked window,
And took a peep inside and what he saw,
Was nothing and none so he climbed back down again.
