31 01 08 14:05Burns Assembly

Today we were doing our Burns assembly six days late. I was a narrator with Josh, Charlene, Nicole, Karen, Chelsea, Conner, and Scott. We sang four songs and did seven poems (altogether). The first song was Rantin n’ Roven Robin which is about his birthday. The second song was A Red, Red Rose which is a love poem. The third one (which is my favourite one) Scots Wha Hae which is his impression of what Robert the Bruce might have said before his Scottish army defeated the English army. And the last song was Auld Lang Syne. The first poem was To a Mountain Daisy which is what happened when Rabbie ran over a daisy with a plough. The second poem was To a Mouse which is when he ran over its nest. We finished our assembly by singing Auld Lang Syne.

My Lamarck

There was a young man of Fake
He was baking a wedding cake
As he slit it open
It all came down foaming
That unhappy young man of fake
