22 03 07 12:01Tartan

Tartan is a Scottish type of clothing and can be made from many colours but the best colours are blue and purple. There is evidence that Celts have used striped and checked material for thousands of years.
Tartan was made in Ireland and was brought to Scotland. Scots are still wearing it.
Tartan came from Ireland and it was then introduced to Scotland. It was Scots who gave Scotland its name.
It is made by being woven then it can be made into kilts.
Tarten is made from wool and cloth. I got the Tartan from the Interactive Tartan Designer.

14 03 07 10:50Basking sharks Part 1

Last night I was Studying about Basking sharks. I did not know that they hibernated.
On the news, a couple of years ago, a Japanese fisherman found a dead basking shark and he thought it was the remains of a preastoric animal. Basking sharks only eat planton. There is a kind of planton called Zooplanton. There are lots of names that we use such as; Basking shark, Bone shark, Elephant shark and Hoe-mother shark. The Basking shark is one of the reconizable of all sharks. It has massive gills that go all around its head. The Basking shark is not to be feared but if you hit its skin it will go on a rampage and attack anything.
I will write back once I find more information.

Canada

If I could go to any country it would be Canada because it has the worlds largest building and Niagara Falls. Canada is most famous for its mountain range called Rockies and their police called Mounties as they go everywhere on horse back. The Cn Tower is one of the world’s largest buildings and Niagara Falls is one of the world’s longest, highest and natural waterfalls. Canada is on the border of America. The weather is very cold in the winter with lots of snow. I would love to go whale watching and see the Rockies. I also love Canadian maple syrup on pancakes.
