I drew a picture of Zeus the Greek God, Steven drew Chinese statue, Stephen drew Yin and Yang and Troy drew the Star of David. Rules from different religions. Some children got a sheet with different rules on it. The other children where making a front cover for a book.
I was writing a rule in fancy writing. The rule I wrote was Buddhism and it said, "Hurt not others in ways you yourself would find hurtful." Once you had wrote your rule you where to look in the book that your rule was.
You where to look in the book for symbols and pictures you could draw round the rule you wrote rule. If you drew all your work in black you were to colourfully colour it in.

On Tuesday I went on a trip with the school.
It was leading on with another trip that we were suppose to go on but it got cancelled because we had visitors coming to speak to us.The trip was about different religions.
First we got separated into groups.
One group was doing fancy writing like they do in Arabic, Latin the second group drew some pictures and the third group drew symbols for the front cover.
We were looking in the books for different symbols. I found lots of symbols but I only drew a couple of them. Then they are going to pick things of ourpage and put it all together to make a front cover. You had to make the writting all nice and fancy.
Yesterday p6s/j went on a trip to whiteinch library, we were learning about the rules that the religions use. We each were sitting in groups of four to work me Stephen Joshua and Troy were making the front cover. I was making a Buddha, Troy was making the Star of David, Joshua was making Zeus and Stephen was making Yin and Yang everybody else was making fancy writing that was like Sanskrit, Hinduism and Hebrew then when we were finished we each got a leaf each and we had to write what we learned we all enjoyed it.
Yesterday p6sj went to Whiteinch Library. It is also a library. We had the choice to draw picture of things for R.E and other people got to right things like Latin and Sanskrit. I choose Buddhism and you got to right in a fancy way. They all looked good at the end. But it was a bit hard because we missed the first bit of it , when P6m got to go to the first and second bit. The drawings were good as well. There were four drawers Joshua, Steven, Stephan and Troy. Stephen done a really cool ying yang sign. All of the rules were all about loving everyone they were all the same but in different words. We made the 1st letter dog and fancy and had to make the others fancy too. The 1st letter had patters and maybe animals’ heads. We had books to help us. We looked in the books to find Religious symbols e.g. If you were doing an Islam Rule you would look in a Islam book and find a picture and draw it. After that we coloured our letters in. If we made a mistake we just made it into something else, so if you made a mistake you could make it into a star or a love heart. When we finished that the lady gave us a felt leaf and we had to write what was good about the trip or what you learned.
Yesterday afternoon our class went to Whitinch Library. We went to find out about different religions.
We had to design a small book. We first go split into groups, one group had to design a front cover. Another group had to design picture for it and my group had to write out sayings such as “Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.”
The first letter of the first word had to be in fancy writing with great detail. It was really fun.

On saturday my two little cousins are staying with me.
they always stay at the weekend orelse we go somewhere together .
Like last time we went swimming the to the park and then to my cousins house.
In there back garden there is swings a shoot and a wee shoot and a see-saw.
Open up for old times sake as he pulled the door knob harder and harder.
And the cunning owl gliding home as silent as nothing.
And the wolf destroying anything in sight as the travel could see and hear.
And eyes from statues follow him were ever he goes.
And rats creeping in a hole in the ground.
And he could hear floor boards creaking which means someone is in.
“Let me in!” bellowed the traveller punching the back door.
And the creaking door got louder but he tried to ignore.
And he saw the graveyard and imagines the dead rising.
But he heard the floorboards and knew that someone was in.
Then he felt there sadness and he sank into a small tiny tin.
“Hello?” said the traveller feeling scared.
As soon as he spoke those words he felt eerie.
“Tell them I came but no one answered,
Tell the I kept my promise to keep coming back”
As he left the silence slowly came back.
The Spooky Poem
“Can you let me in now?” begged the Traveller.
Shaking on the gate outside, nobody answered!
And a bat flu right past the Travellers arm.
And he stepped on the flowers with anger
And threw the gate open.
The Traveller heard the floorboards creaking in the house
And footsteps too.
He banged on the door once more and shouted is anyone there?
Nobody answered his call, He saw the light swishing to each side
Flashing on and off.
And a few minutes’ later tiles fell from the roof to the floor.
He looked puzzled thinking what should I do?
He shouted again “is anyone there?” still nobody answered his call
So he jumped up on his horse and went away.
Spooky home
I know you are in there, cried the traveller stamping his feet.
And all he could hear was footsteps creaking on the floor.
And he could see dead people walking across him,
And he could see orbs flying about him.
And rustling trees swaying side to side,
And flashing lights flashing out and in,
And squeaking rats coming out of their holes,
Squeaking across the floor.
Is they’re anybody there? Said the unknown traveller kicking on a wooden door.
And the grass was whooshing on the ground like sand.
The traveller stared and looked perplexed and curiously,
HELP! Said the traveller.
And wood cracking down the stairs like a brick.
The traveller was confused and scared,
It sounded like someone was falling down.
The reflection in the moonlight stared into his eyes,
And wolves were howling all night,
And the moon was so bright,
The traveller slept on the doorstep all night long.
“Hello is anyone there” said the traveller tapping at the wooden door.
And his horse neighed at the sight of floating phantoms at the window.
The traveller heard doors slamming and sprits talking from inside the scary old house
“I know your in there yelled the traveller knocking at the door once more.
And glass smashed as an old woman screamed at the sound of the sprits singing.
“Tell them I came to help but no-one answered his call,no-one came to the window
The traveller felt angry that someone was in,
But didn’t answer
As the traveller walked toward the gate he turned back only once
He got on his horse and road off
Not daring to turn back.
