Tonight I am doing my dancing exams. The dancing exam is when you have your black dancing costume on with your hair tied back in all different styles. When the exams are starting you come through a door and say to the dudge "good evening". Then you get into the space where you are going to dance. At the end of your dance you need to bow to the dudge. After you bow you need to stand still so the dudge can write about you. Then you walk out the door and get ready for your tap or ballet exam. A few weeks after the exams you get your results. The highest result you can get is highly commended and the lowest you can get is not commended, but even if you got highly commended, commended or not commended you still get a medal for turning up on the exam night.

Yesterday I went on to a website called Cyber cafe. I learned that if you get mean text messages you should go and tell an adult and then delete the text message, and if you go onto the internet and you see that you have a email that says you have won something you can either delete the email or you can go and tell an adult. When I played the quiz I learned that if you are doing a piece of research on the internet you should take a few notes so you can make them into your own words. I also learned that if you get an email that is from a boy or girl that you don't know telling that you need to meet up with them you should tell an adult and then delete the email.
I liked Cyber cafe because it was fun and intresting.

Today I was on a website called cyber café. I went on to the brain tester quiz about e-mails.

On the quiz it told you that if someone sends you a bad e-mail you tell your mum and dad you don’t send them a bad one back. If a pop up comes up and says you have won some thing just ignore it because people are just trying to sell thing through the Internet.

If you were talking to someone on the chat line and they asked you to meet up with you, you should tell an adult before you tell them yes or no.

If you are searching the Internet for information on your homework you should put what you found out in to your own words because if you don’t then you are just coping someone else’s work.

If you are going to make your own website you don’t put pictures of your self or your address because some other person that you don’t know.

Today p6S/J were on a website called The Cyber Cafe.

I learned about text messaging, writing E-mails and I also did a quiz.

When I was learning about E-mails it told you about if you get a mean message you should tell your parents and see what they say. If you get a Spam message you should delete it straight away. If your friend sends you an E-mail with an attachment you should read the E-mail and see if it mentions about it, if it doesn’t mention anything about it tell your parents.

When I was on the boy who was telling you about the text messaging I learned that if you ever get a message from a person who you don’t know or who you have only talked to over the internet but you haven’t met them and they have told you to meet them somewhere you shouldn’t go unless you have actually met them.

This is my dog Jess. She is 4 years old. I got her from Dogstrust 6 months ago. She is a Jack Russel Terrier crossed with a Yorkshire Terrier. She is always on the move and HYPER!!! She goes to Glens Dog Training on Wednesday nights and hasn't been for a while. I have to take her for a walk in the morning before school, when I get home from After Care, after she has had her dinner and before I go to bed. She is allowed off her lead for most walks. Jess does not particuarly like other dogs and tends to go for them. She likes to chase bikes, motorbikes and runners. When I take her a walk I have to pick up her number 2's because in this country if you get caught leaving it behind you can get fined at up to £500 by the Police.

Thomas Rawlinson wore Highland dress in the traditional manner, but found it difficult to take it off the upper half of the plaid without taking the other part off so he divided it into 2 parts.

France is famous for the Louve the most famous art gallery in the world, it has the Mona lisa wich was painted by Leonardo Davinci. The Eittle tower and the arch de triumph. France is famous for it’s wine, champagne and cheese. There is also a famous bike race held every year in France, and it is called Tour de France and Lance Armstrong is the best racer, he has won the race a number of times.

I would like to vist France because it is a very interesting and exciting country. It has so much to see and do. You can also go skiing in France, and I would love to do that.

The country I wound like to go to is New York. New York is in the southeast of USA. People call it the Big Apple. New York has got a long island. It is near the Atlantic Ocean. The reason I wound like to go to New York is because I love to shop and everyone says it is the best places to go shopping. I also love pizza and New York is famous for pizza. I also would like to visit The Empire state building and spot the place where the Twin Towers used to be. I would love to have a picnic in Central Park. Another reason is; I love the programme Friends, which was set in New York. The weather in New York’s is mostly the same as ours in Scotland; it snows and rains in winter' and it gets warm in summer. Last night I was Studying about Basking sharks. I did not know that they hibernated.
On the news, a couple of years ago, a Japanese fisherman found a dead basking shark and he thought it was the remains of a preastoric animal. Basking sharks only eat planton. There is a kind of planton called Zooplanton. There are lots of names that we use such as; Basking shark, Bone shark, Elephant shark and Hoe-mother shark. The Basking shark is one of the reconizable of all sharks. It has massive gills that go all around its head. The Basking shark is not to be feared but if you hit its skin it will go on a rampage and attack anything.

If I could go to any country in the world it would be Egypt because of the pyramids and the museums of the mummified.

Egypt is famous for it’s tombs where the Egyptians kept all of their possessions when they died, Egypt is also famous for it’s giant pyramids where they kept the dead before they started building tombs.

The weather in Egypt is always hot and sunny except from night times because it could end up cold. Egypt sometimes has sandstorms when it is windy.

If I could go to Egypt I would visit the pyramids, the sphinx, and Cairo to see the Valley of the kings.

Down under

I would like, to go to Australia known as down under.

They invented surfing and I would like to surf. In Australia, tourists are aloud to see dolphins being fed. Did you know a Man named Sir Robert Torrens discovered the strait between Australia and New Guinea, or do you know why Australia is named down under? Let me tell you because it is right at the bottom of the world. And in down under there are kangaroos, and a very famous man died by a stingray, that man was the crocodile hunter A.K.A Steve orvan.

If I could visit a Country it would be Spain. It is famous for Holiday Resorts and oranges. Most the time it’s famous for the weather. It is in Southern Europe. The weather is really hot, especially during the day.
I would like to visit Spain because it has big swimming pools and lots of beaches. I would go to the swimming much more. I would be really busy going down to the beach. It would be fun.

Canada

If I could go to any country it would be Canada because it has the worlds largest building and Niagara Falls. Canada is most famous for its mountain range called Rockies and their police called Mounties as they go everywhere on horse back. The Cn Tower is one of the world’s largest buildings and Niagara Falls is one of the world’s longest, highest and natural waterfalls. Canada is on the border of America. The weather is very cold in the winter with lots of snow. I would love to go whale watching and see the Rockies. I also love Canadian maple syrup on pancakes.

Australia, Sydney. img_56.jpg. Summer 2004. Pics4Learning. 6 Mar 2007 My country is Australia, its an island, it has a lot of beaches and it has a desert in the middle of the country. It’s famous for the opera house, Harbour Bridge and the unusual animals.
It’s on the other side on the world. It’s mostly sunny and hot.
I would like to visit Australia because my Gran, mum and my auntie Karen where born there. I would like to go and see my favourite animals like dolphins, kangaroos and koalas. The unusual animals are warmbats, platapus and kookaburra
I would like to go swimming at bondi beach.

Egypt is famous for the pyramids; lots of desert and the river nile .It is also very hot.
I would like to visit Egypt to ride on a camels back and see the pyramids.
Cleopatra was Egyptian she used to bathe in milk Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharoh. Cairo is the capital of Egypt. Egypt is in the middle east.
It is in northern Africa.

I would like to visit France. Paris is the capital city of France. Disney land Paris is also in Paris. France is famous for Paris and the Eiffel tower that is in Paris too. France is in Europe. France usually sunny but it has changeable weather sometimes. I would like to visit France because I would like to go to Paris. I would go shopping in Paris and go to Disney land Paris, and go to see the Eiffel tower.

Egypt

Egypt is in the Middle East. It is across the water from Saudi Arabia.
Egypt is very famous for it’s Pyramids.
The weather is very hot in Egypt. There is lot` s of sand and the people travel on camels. I would like to visit this country because I am interested in the Pyramids.
I would like to go see the tombs of tutankhamun, one of the pharaohs. I would also like to learn more about the sun god RA.

The country I would like to visit is Australia. Australia is home to lots of animals. When we in Scotland get winter they get summer and it is very hot! Australia is famous for the Great Barrier Reef and the Sydney Opera House. Australia is located just under the Equator in the Southern Hemisphere. I would like to go to Australia to see the wildlife and visit lots of animal parks.

The country I would visit would be New York. New York is famous for the statue of liberty; it is in the USA (united states of America) away from the United Kingdom. The weather would be like sunny, cloudy or there would be a tornado or a hurricane, I would like to visit this country because I would see some brilliant places like museums, central park, schools and don’t forget the statue of liberty and I would like to see the movies they would make.

I would like to visit Egypt. In Egypt the weather is really hot. There is a lot of animals like camels, Scorpions and lots more. The Ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for the Pharaohs and Queens. The Pharaohs were buried in pyramids of many shapes and sizes from the begging of the old kingdom. There are 80 pyramids in Egypt. There is a great pyramid which has Pharaoh Kufu buried in it. Egyptians invented written scripts to record information. Life in Egypt revolved around the river Nile and the fertile around the bank. Egyptians believed in many Gods and each God has a different character to play. The Egyptian flag has 1 line at the top of it and 1 line at the bottom of it. In the middle of the lines there is a golden bird. The top line is coloured red and the bottom is coloured black and in the middle it is white. In Egypt I would like to visit pyramids and look at mummies.

Today I was on the sandaig weblog and I was on sound revision it was a science project I had to find out about, was it interesting or if it was cool or what was enjoyable about it. I think I learned a bit more about sound and it was a good way to learn because i know a lot about sound. Sound can travel through water and there is liquid. liquid is all around us that is air it was interesting because there is a high pitch and a low pitch. sound is made when an object vibrates, like a ruler it goes when you ping it on the end of a table or if you get water and a funnel and you put your ears to it and you talk you can here your self talking differently.
