Today we were in the media room, we all got different tasks to do. I got to do french games. There was lots of things to do, I went on to the greetings bit and selected Bonjour. I had to click on the people and they said things, then I had to clck and drag the right answer into the correct speech bubbles.

Hello this is my Warhammer.They are called the space marines. There are all different kinds like Necrons, Dark elder, tau, tyranids and more. You buy them in bits and you have to buy special glue from the Games Workshop. You can`t use super glue as it will damage the plastic figures. You can use super glue for metal ones though. The metal ones cost more money. You can only buy Warhammer in the Games Workshop. There is a Games Worksop in the town. They also sell special paint. I collect Warhammer 40, 000 but you also can get older ones called Warhammer. Warhammer is the original one which is wizards, knights and other things. There also is Lord of the Rings models which are very very detailed. If you go in to the Games Workshop they have big tables and they give you some figures to play with. They put Green Flock on the table and fake rocks so it looks like a battleground. You can buy trees and ruins and things like that. To play you need a measuring tape to see how far your soldiers can move and also the distance the guns can shoot. You also need 33 dice but 3 have to be special dice that you can only by In the Game Workshop.

27 February 07 - 14:48The Good Samaritian 2007

One night there was a Rangers and Celtics football match. Rangers won the match that night. When everybody came out of Celtics park a Rangers fan went to the pub. There was a large gang of young men were staring at the Rangers fan called Craig. Craig took his wallet out to get a drink there was lots of money in his wallet. The gang of boys saw the money and really wanted the money, and when Craig got his drink he went out and phoned a taxi. Craig waited one whole hour so he just started to walk home. Craig was walking home but he did not know his way. He came to a field then he heard someone breathing so he looked back and the gang of boys jumped out behind a tree and stabbed Craig two times on the back. The gang ran away with his wallet and his mobile phone. Craig was screaming for help. He saw a Celtic fan who was at the match he knew he would not help him but he did. He picked Craig up and put him in his car and drove off to the hospital.

Yesterday in P6sj The three mangers had to choose jobs for everyone else.One of the jobs Was phoning Mr Cohen,who will pick up the pictures for framing. Caroline, Jamie and Shaun had to go around and collect pictures from all the classes in the school and making sure they had everyones picture.Some children had to make posters. The managers chose three children to type letters to send out to parents. They mangers also chose two people to make posters for the weblog.

Last Friday two scientists came to our school. They said they where going to talk about the water cycle.
They picked six people to stand up. Then they all had to hold each other by the shoulder. Then they said when I tap you on the shoulder you have to let go of the other persons shoulder and shake all your body saying Blub Blub.
Then they put water in a tin and put the lid on the top and put safety wall up, then they put goggles on and lit a flame on a little can of gas and hold the tin over the fire then the lid popped off and nearly hit the roof. Also they did the same as the tin but it’s a can that has a hole and empty then it didn’t't pop but quickly put it in cold water an it imploded.
It`s because all the molecules in the tin bounced off the tin and when it hit the lid the lid blow off. And the can implodes because all the molecules jumping about because of the heat and when it gets put in cold water it implodes.
They also talked how rain is made. This is how it works it evaporates in to the clouds as little drops and when they join and get too heavy they fall as rain drops.
Finally they put dry ice in hot water it makes smoke and they put some on peoples head.

Hi Primary Six.
Write about the science event you saw in the gym hall this afternoon.
You can find pictures on the Water Cycle Photos page.
Explain what is going on in the photo you choose. What did you learn? What did you enjoy? What do you understand?
Remember lots of people will read your blog, check your writing for spelling and sense.

Yesterday Primary six were doing sound with all different instruments. And we took a picture of one of the instruments the chime bars. Every group got an instrument for three minutes and when three minutes were up we swapped instrument for an other three minutes. But there was a not just instrument there was books that you had to look in and find stuff and write it down on a piece of paper. And after every group had a shot at every thing Mrs Moore and the class looked at the piece of paper and check it with the books. And after we played a sound game with Mrs
Moore someone had to go into a circle and someone had to go into the middle and someone had to clap their hands and the person had to guess were the person was.
We learned sound can travel threw any substance. Sound mad by waves and vibration.

This is my mums camera that she got from her uncle's house when he died. The camera is 100 years old. It is a very old KODAK camera that takes very, very old film that is quite expensive. If I get film we are going to take a class photo and Miss Moore is going to try and develop the photo.

02 February 07 - 12:23My day in a Victorian school

I was late for school for the second time this week. When I went in the clock and the gas lamps were just turned on. The teacher shouted at me for being late and gave me the whip it was very very sore. Then I got the Dunce hat for 26 minutes. After that I had to change the date by turning the handles, it was very stiff. Then it was time for math. We had to write some sums on the black slates with the slate pencils. I hate writing on the slates. After maths we learned about the world. The teacher used his cane to point at different countries on the map. Some of my class started talking when the teacher was talking, and when the teacher caught them talking he hit the cane off the tables and said “Don’t Talk While I’m Talking!” Before hometime we had handwriting it was really really hard. At hometime the full class had to sing a song going out of school. It was a really boring song.

Victorian letter
Hi mum my first day at school wasn’t so good because I got the belt two times and it was really sore I’m got the belt for shouting out at the teacher but never mind that. I’m really good at my handwriting. I’m sitting next to a girl called Claire she’s really nice. A girl had to put a big hat on. It had a D on it. It was for dunces. We have wooden desks. The queen is very important to us because she is the ruler of our country. We also have a light that is used by gas and in the morning it is very dull.
We have slates to write on we have to scratch it with a pencil. What we use for counting is a abacus that is what we use to count. I also know my alphabet

Hi mum, me and my friend Sarah got the belt three times for talking in class. I` m getting better at my handwriting. Today our teacher Miss Murdin told us about Queen Victoria. Now I’m the best in the class at using a counting frame. I am very lucky cause I dropped my
pencil in class and didn’t get in trouble. Our teacher bought our class a world map. Also we got a new date machine. A boy called tom got the dunce hat for half an hour. Can you send me some new shoes, socks, pencils, ink and a slate? And our teacher got a big scary stick and it` s called a walking stick. And I have a bad cough. Our class clock got broke.I`ve learned my A B C.And I am really really good at reading, and my favourite book is “War and Peace”

Hi mum,
Today we did some maths they were really hard .I found it hard to write on the slates. We had to sit on the old wooden seats I got a splinter. The gaslights were not on and I could not see. My shoes got lost and my feet were sore and swollen they were all cut to.

At playtime there was a fight and the food I got was raw and I fell sick and the clock was wrong so we didn’t get our second play.

Hi mum,

The sums today were really hard. We had to sit on the uncomfortable seats and I didn’t like it. When we came in at morning the gaslights were turnt on because it was really dark.

John had to wear the dunces hat because he was bad. We have to use a slate most of the time, im scared incase I get a disease from liking it. I change the date by pushing the buttons.

Today I was at school at playtime I was bossing every one around when I got into a fight. I got three whips from the teacher it was really sore but after a while my marks got swollen.
We had to practice singing for the royal inspector coming. he only comes once a year, he was with us for a long time. When we were doing handwriting my ink pen kept dotting on my page very annoying sometimes but I'll get use to it. We had to practise for tomorrow for our poems we sang proudly.

Hi,
I was at school today it wasn’t very good. I got into trouble for fighting again I got 3 of the belt it is very sore and I have big red marks on my hand. We were practising poems to say in front of the Royal Inspector he only comes once a year. My ink kept on blotting my page. I got lots of splinters on my foot because of the wooden floor had bits of wood sticking out from it. Today it was very dark because we only have gas lamps. I was really scared incase I got a disease from licking my slate to get it clean. Everyone has to be on their best behaviour tomorrow. I am very scared incase I say my poems wrong but I have learned them very well.
