23 March 07 - 07:40Tonight is my dancing exams

Tonight I am doing my dancing exams. The dancing exam is when you have your black dancing costume on with your hair tied back in all different styles. When the exams are starting you come through a door and say to the dudge "good evening". Then you get into the space where you are going to dance. At the end of your dance you need to bow to the dudge. After you bow you need to stand still so the dudge can write about you. Then you walk out the door and get ready for your tap or ballet exam. A few weeks after the exams you get your results. The highest result you can get is highly commended and the lowest you can get is not commended, but even if you got highly commended, commended or not commended you still get a medal for turning up on the exam night.

22 March 07 - 12:11What I've learned in Cyber cafe

Yesterday I went on to a website called Cyber cafe. I learned that if you get mean text messages you should go and tell an adult and then delete the text message, and if you go onto the internet and you see that you have a email that says you have won something you can either delete the email or you can go and tell an adult. When I played the quiz I learned that if you are doing a piece of research on the internet you should take a few notes so you can make them into your own words. I also learned that if you get an email that is from a boy or girl that you don't know telling that you need to meet up with them you should tell an adult and then delete the email.
I liked Cyber cafe because it was fun and intresting.

22 March 07 - 11:47Amy report about tartan

Tartan came from Ireland and was introduced to the unnamed country of Scotland by some Scots that came from Ireland. Tartan is a piece of cloth that has been woven. Then it is made into a kilt, sash and many different things.
It is made out of thread, which is woven into a pattern made out of crisscrossing, horizontilly and vertically.
Tartan is now used all round the world for weddings and special occasions.

I made this tartan from the Interactive Weaver

13 March 07 - 14:51Five interesting things about myself

Here is five intresting facts about myself, but one of them is fake.
Try and guess what one it is.

1. Every Monday I go to Brownies to play games and learn about God.
2. I have met Orlando Bloom and David Tennent.
3. I'm double jointed as I can do strange things with my hands like bending my fingertips and I can bend my hand right forward.
4. My favourite program is Hollyoaks because it is sometimes sad and sometimes funny.
5. I like playing Zoo Tycoon on my DS because you can build your own zoo and collect lots of animals. My best animal that you can get is the penguin.

06 March 07 - 14:58I would like to go to Egypt

I got this picture from http://www.pics4learning.com/
If I could go to any country in the world it would be Egypt because of the pyramids and the museums of the mummified.

Egypt is famous for it’s tombs where the Egyptians kept all of their possessions when they died, Egypt is also famous for it’s giant pyramids where they kept the dead before they started building tombs.

The weather in Egypt is always hot and sunny except from night times because it could end up cold. Egypt sometimes has sandstorms when it is windy.

If I could go to Egypt I would visit the pyramids, the sphinx, and Cairo to see the Valley of the kings.

Egypt is beside Libya and Saudi Arabia. Running through Egypt is the River Nile. Egypt’s capital city is Cairo.
