You have a pair of lovely flippers
Better than my dads old slippers
I would get soaking wet
To get you as my very own pet
Out to sea i would sail
To see your lovely swishing tail
Everytime you make sound
Its so good you should have a crown
You have a very pointy fin
It looks as sharp as my grannies pin
I think dolphins are very nice
Better than my mums fried rice!

Lion Poem by Nicole
I would fly on a plane
To see your lovely, cuddly mane
You are very soft and fluffy
Fluffier than my pet dog scruffy
Your soft and shiny brown fur
Makes my cat start to purrr
You have a very fast tail
It sways like a very strong gail
You have a loyd fierce roar
It would even scare a full-grown boar
You have a very sharp claw
Sharper than my dads saw
I think lions are good to see
And i think they really like me!

25 January 07 - 14:50BBC science clips report
Today we were on a website called
BBC science clips. It was all about sound because sound is our new science topic. I learned that when you shorten a guitar string and you pluck it strongly it goes high and loud and when you make the string longer and pluck it gently it goes low and quiet. I also learned that when you fill up a bottle until it is almost full and bow into it strongly it goes low and quiet. I think that the sound game is a really interesting and a good way to learn because it is a game that you play and have fun and at the same time you are learning lots! I hope that if you go on it you will like it as much as I do.

18 January 07 - 16:45Robert Burns day
Next Thursday is Robert Burns day! Next Friday in school we are having an assembly in the gym hall and all the classes have to read out some poetry. Our class are doing Tam O Shanter. We dont know what the other classes are doing though. After the Poems we go back to our class and get a Burns supper
I hope it is as good as every other year.
