23 December 06 - 20:28Christmas Eve
Yay! its Christmas eve tomorrow. I have been asking for a lot of present the past few days. When my mum comes back from the shops she allways says "I got you something you would really like today". I have been really excited and hyper. Oh and yesterday when it was our last day of school a man from Peru came to put on a show for us. At first he he was a mime and he was doing things like pulling an imaganary rope and he got some people up to help him. He was very good at making ballons he made a dog, a loveheart, a flower and a butterfly. Then he changed in to an acrobatic person. He was doing dangerous things too.
It was really really really good!

22 December 06 - 09:41Synagogue
Yesterday all of P6 were going on a visit to the Synagogue. There was a guide called Barry. Barry was wearing a little hat called a skull hat. Barry showed us were the Rabi
(The minister) would stand to tell the people things. There was a massive ark. An ark is were they keep the Torah scrolls. Barry opened the ark to let us see the Torah scrolls. The scrolls were very long each of the scrolls had a crown like the Queen or King would wear. There was a light that stays on all the time. It was called the Ner Tamid. There was lovely pictures on the windows. There was also a star called the star of David.
I had fun.

20 December 06 - 13:33Christmas Calenders
Today P6S/J were making Christmas calenders. Mrs Stewart put some old Christmas cards on the floor then we had to pick a card with a picture that we liked the best then we had to draw it. We coloured in our pictures and then Mrs Stewart cut out some holly leaves of different shades of green and we stuck them around our pictures. Then we got some red shiny paper and cut out little balls so they were like berries we stuck 2 or 3 on our leaves. When we finished it we put glitter on the pictures only if you needed it though.
We all had fun!

15 December 06 - 17:55Talent contest
It is now time for the talent contest in Sandaig. The talent contest is a show that people either in groups or alone go up on stage and peform either a dance, A play, Jokes other things. The heats for P6s are on Tuesday or Wednesday and the Contest is on Thursday. When the heats come you have to perfom infront of your class then at the end when everyone has performed everyone in P6 has to vote for who was the best. Only 2 people get through in to the contest. I am doing the talent contest too with my friend i hope i get through into the contest
if not then not to worry.I wish everyone that is taking part in the heats good luck

06 December 06 - 14:02Making Stars
Today P6S/J were in the media room in the afternoon. We were using Microsoft Word, we were making stars. We start by drawing a trinangle with the triangle tool. We chose a colour then we duplicated it and put it beside the other triangle kept doing the same until it was making a star shape. Then we grouped it and we made it 3D then it was finished.
