Scott, My favourite bit of today was the forrest walk, because you can get all mucky and wet, we got to jump into puddles and roll down hills.

Rhys E: I liked the forrest walk too. I kept jumping in the river with everyone else. We splashed mud all over ourselves. At the end we climbed through a tunnel which a stream was going through. It was freezing and I slide right through it!!!

Kieran: I like orienteering 2, because we got to run about in the forest and stamp the sheet.

Kayleigh: today we had fun we went through the woods trying to find a lot of stamps. After we came back we played games around the centre, 'electric fence' and 'spiders web' we learnt about teamwork.

Declan: I like the archery because you used the bulleye. I drew a Mr Johnston Monster and we used it as a target. I hit him on the toe. Kieran hit him on the leg and Gemma killed the monster with a shot to the heart.

Callum: We and Jamie slid down the mudbath, and we walked through rivers. We fell hundreds of times I enjoyed the forrest walk.

Emily: We had to walk through water and mud that was rotten! My favourite bit was when had to pop the balloons with a bowe and arrow, if we popped a balloon we got a lollypop.

Stephanie: My best bit was "How do you do that". We got to play games. In one game there were two planks there were rope loops to put your feet in. Enough for eight people. We had to try and walk. You had to say 1,2, 3 lift and lift one plank all together. We walked across the grass, we all had to cooperate, my group worked well together.
Stephanie's tooth fell out and the tooth fairy came!

Bryan went to archery today he says he liked it because you need to try and hit the target to win a 'holiday' Bryan missed so he went nowhere.

Kimberly: Today I went and did the forrest walk and did well not to fall, we went to archery and I hit two balloons in a row and got 10 bonus points. Then we went orienteering 2. I feel the whole day was really good and fun.

Last night we walked along to the Glencoe Memorial, the children sang the Ballad of Glencoe beautifully, we are very proud of them.
It was a warm night even though we can see some snow on the hills, the scenery is lovely and the night was very quiet compared to Glasgow.
The children have slept well and are looking forward to an exciting day.
You can see some more of mondays photos Monday Photos.
Our internet connection is slow here, so I'll keep most of the photos until I get back.

We have arrived safe and sound and already had lunch, an activity and dinner!
I will try and put some pictures here : Glencoe Gallery.
Leave a comment here and I will let the children know tomorrow night what you say.

The Children are all having a great time, most are too busy to talk to me, here is what they have been saying:
Bradley: Me and Declan have been playing fun games, one of the games we had to get balls through gutters, we will get a sweet because we got it round a whole hexagon. Mum I am fine.

Ewan and Tony: we had a wee tour round the centre, the we did some orienteering round the house. We worked with Anna we used maps and compasses to find our way about. We had to find posts with different patterns to stamp our paper. We are having a good time at Glencoe.

Karen: We played a game where we all put our feet in loops on a plank and had to walk, it was hard because there was lots of people we had to communicate to work together. We played another game where we went in a big square, there was a bomb in it(not a real one) we had to get the bomb out of the square without it touching the ground. We tied ropes onto a circle ring to hook bomb. We managed to get the bomb out after a few tries.

Ashley & Shannon and : Our group did archery, first we practiced shooting at the target with sponge behind (so it was easy to pull out the arrows).
Then we had to shoot the balloons, but no one hit a balloon.

Megan D says hi mum I hope you not missing me to much, I am having a good time.

Kimbery says: Hi mum, Dad and Gran, I am fine we have arrived at Glencoe we are having a wonderful time, tomorrow my group is going to the Sea life centre. See you soon.

Declan: Mum and Dad we have a nice room and a lot of sweeties.

Natasha and Kayleigh: Our group went on a forest walk. It was very muddy and wet, we walked up a stream. We saw old fallen down houses.

Natasha: We walked up a muddy path, I fell down and crawled up, Peter told us to camouflage ourselves we got balls of mud and put it over our faces.
Kayleigh: I didn't like it and everybody tried to put mud on my face.
We had a great day so far tomorrow e are going skiing.
Kayleigh says hi to mum and Alexander.
Natasha says hello to mum and dad.
