The full moon is like a bright clock ticking away,
A gigantic white jawbreaker slowly getting sucked,
A circular football staring into space.

It’s me up high,
In that sky.
It’s me up high,
In that sky.

The changing moon is like a white banana floating up high,
A stretchy hammock swinging side to side,
A shallow boat floating about.

It’s me up high,
In that sky.
It’s me up high,
In that sky.

The full moon is like a blank face staring down,
A white football scoring a goal,
A disco ball sparkling in the sky.

Up in the sky,
Can’t you see?
The moon is shining down on me.

The changing moon is like a smile smiling in the sky,
A shady, white hammock swing side to side,
An old rocking chair swinging back and forth.

Up in sky,
Can’t you see?
The moon is shining down on me.

The full moon is like a shiny bright light flashing on to me,
A gigantic white eye staring at all the planets and stars,
A solid round football spinning round very quietly.

When the sun is out and up so high,
I am not out I am in the sky,
I never come out unless it’s night,
And when it isn’t I’m out of sight.

The changing moon is like a shady, white hammock swinging side to side,
An upside-down bushy brown moustache,
A white sparkly smile smiling on to the Earth.

When the sun is out and up so high,
I’m not out I’m in the sky,
I’m not out unless it’s night,
And when it isn’t I’m out of sight.
