Miss Smith and I have just came back from a two day trip where we taught in our partner school in Holland, De Rank.We had a great time treach for one day in each of the two locations in De Rank. The School is split into two separated by about 5 Km.
Our main aim was to produce a podcast as a guest show on Radio Sandaig and this went very well the Dutch children speaking in both English and Dutch, their English was of a high standard and the children could follow most of our instructions without translation.
We blogged the trip on the Sandaig - De Rank weblog and 'chatted' to some Sandaig pupils in the comments.
I have uploaded some photos here:
Gallery of Westzaan photos and here:
Assendelft gallery
The Children produced a couple of 'comic' about the visit:
Assendelft comic
Westzaan Comic Life cartoon
And we had two video conferences with Sandaig:

Miss Smith and I would like to thank the Teachers in De Rank for inviting us to their school, proving transport, food and friendship.
We would like to thank all the children we met for working so hard and giving us a warm welcome.
