About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

+ 3 - 2 | § THE DREAM DRAGON

by Carol Fuller
based on The Keepers Poetry
written by the students of
Sandaig Primary School

This is pretty exciting:
After the publication of the Keepers poem for National Poetry Day October 2005 through the Sandaig Otters blog and Radio Sandaig Carol Fuller an American high school theatre teacher in Austell, Georgia in the southern United States of America got in touch.
She loved the poems and proposed a joint project. The pupils at South Cobb high school are creating a play based on our poems. The English students are writing the script, a poetry wall and puppets are being built, the drama students will preform the play. They will video the performance, send us the video, script, wall and puppets, Sandaig pupils will then put on the play!
