About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

+ 4 - 3 | § Keepers poem for National Poetry Day October 2005

On National Poetry Day 2005 Sandaig Primary Celebrated by writing a Keepers Poem.
The poem was inspired by The Keepers Poetry Project which is inspired by the original Keepers poem by Phil Whitehead.
During the last hour of Thursday afternoon, all the children in primary two to seven tried to write a Keepers verse. Some primary seven pupils typed the verses up as fast as they were written, and we added them to our Sandaig Poets weblog class by class.

All 150 verses can be read: Keepers poem for National Poetry Day October 2005

On Friday we recorded just a few of the children reading their verses for Radio Sandaig where you can hear then now!
