About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

Hello everyone. I have been very remiss this last year in not taking advantage of this super way I have of communicating with parents and friends of Sandaig. I have made a promise to myself to correct that this session!
Well this session is now well under way and everyone has settled down to being back at school. We are now fast approaching the Septemeber weekend, and as you know Thursday is an in-service day. A reminder to P1 parents that the children will be in school all day when we return on Tuesday 30 September. Could you please remember to let Mrs Howard know what you intend your child to do at lunchtime ie are they having school dinners, packed lunch or going home?
Can I respectfully remind all parents that children are not allowed outside of school premises at lunchtime unless they are going home.
I will be sending home a newsletter soon but keep an eye on the website as each newsletter is posted here.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say hello to all our P7 pupils who went off to High school at the end of last session. I have spoken to many of you and I know lots of you log into the website. Remember to give your best and work hard. Keep in touch through the blogs.
Enjoy the holiday weekend.
