About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

+ 2 - 3 | § Term 4 Already

It is hard to believe that we are in Term 4 already. As you can see in the many bloggs on the site, there has been a lot happening in the school and there is lots more to come before we finish the session.
One of the big events this term is P7 going off to the Netherlands. We leave on Sunday 6 May and return on Saturday 12 May. There are lots of exciting visits and events planned so stay tuned to the Netherlands blog and keep up to date as we go through the week. Mr Johnston is planning to post each day's activities on the blog so parents and friends can log on and see pictures, read accounts and leave messages for the children.
Later in the term we will have the end of term fun activities including Sports Day, Quiz Day, Art Day, Footbal tournament and House Challenge. In the meantime many classes have visits arranged to People's Palace, Botanic Garden and Scotland Street School. The older classes will be taking part in sport events and we wish them success. Keep logging on to keep in touch with what's happening and look out for the Sandals and Shades singalong and the bubble party.
