About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

+ 7 - 1 | § Looking Forward to the Christmas Fayre

A big thank you to everyone for joining in the fun at this time as we lead up to the Christmas Fayre. The response from parents for the Bottle Stall was superb. We will have a good selection in our bottle stall at the Fayre. Next Friday is non-uniform day again, this time for the Tombola Stall. The 'penalty' for not wearing uniform will be a wrapped Christmas Gift for the tombola stall. I look forward to the continued support of parents. I will be sending home requests for help at the Christams Fayre - leading up to it and on the day. Please return the slip if you can manage.

+ 2 - 8 | § Snakes and Ladders

Well done everyone. Today was the BIG game of Snakes and Ladders.
The children have been working together to formulate our school values. This has been a great opportunity to discuss school values and talk about what we want for our school. A thank-you to our visitors who came along this morning to join in with the children and also to the parents who came along this afternoon to watch the big game!
Another great day for Sandaig Primary!
