About

This is the weblog of Sandaig Primary School.
Sandaig is in Barlanark in the city of Glasgow, Scotland.
A small experiment in the use of a weblog in a primary school.
A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

Last week's non uniform day went very well. A big thankyou to everyone. It was a great effort. Please remember that this Friday is our next non-uniform day when the children are asked to bring in a wrapped Christmas gift for the Tombola stall.
This week is filled with many excursions out of school, P2 are going to Pollok Park on Wednesday followed by P5 also going on Thursday, P4 are going to an anti sectarianism talk on Wednesday and P7 are going to an athletics event on Friday - its a busy week.

+ 4 - 1 | § Hello from Miss McArthur

Dear children, parents and friends of Sandaig Primary
I am delighted that Mr Johnston has organised for me to have my own page here on our website. I hope to use this space to let you know about things that have happened in school or to let you know of forthcoming events. I will ofcourse continue to send home regular newsletters, this page on the website is in addition to them. The newsletter will also be published on the website.
Last week in school the infants made a start on nativity rehearsals - yes its that time again. So if you have a child in P1,2or3 expect them to be coming home singing about mending the manger!
Friday 25 November will be our first non-uniform day leading up to the Christmas Fayre. We will be having two this year - 25 November is 'bring a bottle day' and Friday 2 December will be 'tombola day'. More about this will be in the next newsletter.
Regards Miss McArthur
