| § ¶Christmas in my house
We start our Christmas decorating around the end of November. We put up a tree in the living room and put coloured baubles and tinsel on it. We put an angel on the top. We buy presents for everyone we know. On Christmas Eve we wrap up all the presents we have bought and put them under the tree. We start to prepare the food for the next day. When we are done we go to bed. When we are sleeping Santa Claus brings us some toys. When we wake up the room is filled with presents. It is the 25th of December. Me, my sister, my mum and my dad exchange presents. Later my gran, my uncle Alan, my uncle Ronnie, my cousin Declan and my auntie Jennifer come round for dinner. For starters we have lentil soup, for main meal we have turkey, for desert we have gateau and for 4th course we have tea or coffee and mints. Then we all sit down and exchange presents. Then we all play a family game like scrabble or trivial pursuit. It is great!By Megan M
| § ¶Christmas in my nana's
I wake up early in the morning to open my Christmas presents, and sometimes I get a few surprises. Then I go up to one of my nana’s house to have Christmas dinner then I go up to my other nana’s to meet the rest of my family and we all give each other presents. We also have a Christmas tree with sparkly decorations and a beautiful fairy or star on the top of the Christmas tree. We celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, because we believe that Jesus was born.By Stephanie
