| § Diamond Award For Enterprise

Today two primary 7 pupils went to Glasgow City Chambers, to collect an Enterprise award.
At first we went into the City Chambers and had to find our seats. Once we found our seats we sat down and John Kane the Head of Vocational Training Gave a speech. He said different things about children being greatly valued in Glasgow.

Then Bailie Hanzala Malik gave a speech as well. He was the head of international school connections. He said thank you to all the children who came and all of the teachers as well, and that we should thank our teachers for all the hard work they put into teaching us.

Then Jean MacMillan was going to give a speech but she had to leave early to go to a meeting. So we went straight into giving out the awards. All together there were 101 schools being awarded and there were 10 extra awards 5 for new learning communities and 4 for business engagement new learning awards. Sandaig Primary School got a Diamond award!#

Then we had an inspirational speaker called wee George he pretended to be a wee boy he was very funny.

Then the finger buffet. It was great there were burgers and pizza. Then there was Cake things.
After the buffet we came back to school. When we came back we showed Mrs McArthur and she said after we went around the classes to show them she would put it at the front of the school.
Today we had a really great time!
