Hi Sandaig,

Again we've had a brilliant day. Mrs Smith tired out the archery and Mr Mckean climbed to the top of the pole climb. We thought we'd leave you some comments from us. You can also check out our lastest pics here. See you all soon.

Today we did pole climbing, and we all reached the target we set for our self.
Hayley

We also did archery we had drawn pictures of teachers faces and hade to pop them all
Lisa

We did something called Mohawk walk we had to go across a wire with lots of obstacles. If 1 person fell of we all had to start again.
Lee

We also did the flying fox, it was 25 ft high and you had to jump off it. When you were going down you had to shout something silly.
Gillian

Today we went on the pole climb and it was very scary but we all met our target and it was very high.
Dale

This morning we did something called the tree climb. We had to climb a tall tree and reach the bell.
Lauren

Today Tijssen’s group went on a water fight we had to put yellow waterproof jackets and we needed cones and u had to put water in the cups and put on a blind fold and pick up cups with water in them and throw them at people and hit them and it was very very good.

Hi Sandaig,

The foods great. The cook lady is excellent. We get a choice of dinner and tea every day. The foods better than the dinner school. But don't ell the dinner the ladies. We have to go to bed at 10.30, so the teachers think. We play our DS in the dark for a bit.

Last night we had a quiz, all about different Disney questions and general knowledge , we had 20 questions altogether. At the end we totalled all the points up and with the points we got different bits of material to protect an egg. When we finished we dropped the eggs from the flying fox witch is very high. Everybody’s cracked except the girls, who one. Theirs bounced up off the ground twice. You can see in the gallery the winning team.

After that we had some time to ourselves. Most of us went to hunt for frogs. There are lots of them in the bog. We keep finding them. We found a whole family of frogs last night. Frogs are so cool.

This morning a group has been taking part in the crate climb. It looks easier than it is. You have to stand on one crate and then put the next one on top of it. The highest anyone got was 10 crates.

This afternoon and the morning we took part in the night walk. It’s not at night but with goggles on that make everything dark. It was great fun as you don’t know where you are going.

Look here for our latest photographs, they're in a new folder for day 2 and 3.
Check back later for more updates soon.

Hi Sandaig,

When we arrived at Broomlee we were put into groups. We were put in Neil’s group. Neil made us work as a team to sort ourselves into smallest to largest on the bench. Sounds easy, but we weren’t allowed to touch the ground.

Next we played marshmallows in soup. We had to get from one side of the bowl to the other. We couldn’t take our feet off the green mats. If we did Neil would take one of the mats away. It was a great team building task.

Next we went to the assault course. We went round individually and then we went round as a team. Then we went round with a bucket of water. We had 3 lives and weren’t allowed to spill any water. Because we didn’t we got to soak Neil with it…BRILLIANT!!!.

A fab first day and today we’re off on a 3 hour hill walk.

Check back soon for more updates and please leave lots of comments and questions so we can keep you posted.

BYE!!! P7

Primary 2W made bird feeders for their Birds, Minibeasts and Plants topic.

First they wrote a plan and made a list of all the resources they would need.

Then they mixed all the ingredients together and put the mixture into old yogurt tubs.

They left the bird feeders in the fridge overnight, then the next day they hung them in the garden.

All P2W need now are some hungry birds to visit the garden!
