Storyteller extraordinaire Michael Kerins has sent us some photos from Perm in Russia. Michael inspired our weetom travelling health show, a combination of pictures, sculpture and sound all packed into a suitcase.
I have updated the weetom travelling healthy art show exhibition webpage with the photos Michael has sent, we will look forward to listening to his stories about his travels on his return.

Today we decided that it was time to pick the apples in our garden.
Even though it was pouring two brave pupils ventured out to pick the apples accompanied by an equally brave photographer.
They returned to the classroom and primary 7 tasted the fruit. They were bitter and sweet at the same time.

I've just updated the jukebox with some great new songs form Primary 7 j pupils. Martin the music teacher has started working with groups of children to create garageband music. Why don't you have a listen and leave a comment here to tell the children what you think of their music.

Yesterday Michael our Storyteller came into school to get his suitcase.
It was not an ordanary suitcase...
Last year Michael cam in and told us a story about weetom getting healthy. Miss McArthur asked him to tell the story for Health Week. Michael made up the story as he went along.
Primary 6 (us last session) took the story and made sculptures, weetom size pictures and audio recordings to go with the story.
We wrote the story so that Michael could tell it again. Michael is going to tell the story in Russia and he is taking our weetom Travelling art show extravaganza with him.
Today we finished off the audio which will go on Radio Sandaig soon and we will put pictures of our art work onto the Sandaig Website.
