P6s/j learned how to count up to 31 in French yesterday.
We also learned how to say our date of birth and the months of the year.
We all played a big game of lotto that is French for bingo.
When all four of your numbers got called you got to be the caller but you had to shout the numbers in French.

Here is some bottle art from primary 6 SJ.
We had bottles and we tried to copy them. The bottles were all different and we had to do three. We had to look carefully at the bottles and then draw. We needed to look carefully at the patterns on the bottle. We first drew it with a pencil then went over with a felt tip pen. We got paint brushes with water and went over the inside of the bottles from the line to the middle, this made the ink bleed. The bottles looked like they were shaded and 3-D. The shading had to be carefulf or they pictures would look all purple.

Primary three made some characters. First we drew the people, then we thought about their names, age and what they liked. We made houses we used paper, crayons, glue sticks and scissors.
We made a road for the houses to go on.
We have been talking about how much rubbish the people have put in the bins.
We want to keep the street nice and clean.

When we got a comb and went over to the sink and put the tap on the slightest flow then put the comb next to it but not touching the water.
And the water bent because we rubbed it against our jumpers and it made the water bend.

We saw the water bending and it was quite amazing.

It was amazing and it was very cool and was very very weird.

Yesterday P6S/J were setting our targets for our I can I will tree. For that we had a circle time we all talked about how much reaction was each sentence. It was written on a piece of paper and a sentence was on it we all said how much reaction on a scale of zero to ten. Then we worked on our I can I will tree.
We had to do a target one half of the leaf was for learning and for the other side for our behaviour. For our learning we had to think of something to improve our learning. .e.g. do my handwriting neater. For our behaviour we had to think of something to improve our behaviour .e.g. stand in the line with out fighting.

Today we went to the bridge with St.Stephens Primary school. We went to the bridge and went into a Theatre room and talked about what we will be doing. We did a name game which we had to say our names and our favourite thing to do. Then we went into another room where we did a song called the rubber chicken which was a game where you had shake your hands and legs then say rubber chicken. Then we sang the V song. Then we got into partners which were the same height as you but from a different school and we had to say 1 2 3 but your partner said 1 and you said 2 then it kept going. Then we got split into 3 groups and 1 group said rice cakes, coffee cold chips and vindaloo then while you were singing that the other group said ice-cream buns and round ripe plums and while they 2 groups were singing that! The last groups were saying cheesy biscuits then clapping 4 times. Then we had our snacks. Then we got paper and pens and did a line down the paper and wrote on one side College and on the other side Friendship but some other groups wrote sectarianism. We had fun and met new friends. I can’t wait to go again next week.

Today the primary sevens where at the bridge and St Stephens primary was there. We done some a dances and songs. The songs we sang where a 123 song and another song which I cant remember. We also done a dance called rubber chicken it was so cool but I don’t know how to describe it. It was fun anyway. Well I know a little how to describe it. It was a rap of different foods there where three groups. And a how to know you game. We had to work with someone from St Stephens primary. We also done a friendship and a college poster we had to write a brainstorm about it. Then after that we came back to school.

Day at the Bridge

Today we went to the bridge in Easter house to meet up with st Stephens’s school. When we go to collage we will be going with them, some people are going to north Glasgow collage and Metropolitan collage. Most people are going to Metropolitan collage. We played a game called rubber chicken first to get warmed up. Then they made us into three groups to sing. Then we sang a song then we sang it and stamped our feet.

This afternoon we did some work on 7 Scottish Rivers we had to find 7 Scottish Rivers .The River Tay, River forth, River Clyde, River Dee, River Spey and some more.
We used atlases and a printed sheet with the Rivers marked on.
We all had to colour the rivers in blue.
We also looked at real pictures of the 7 rivers.
They were very interesting.
We were shown 1 or 2 pictures of each river.

Yesterday p7s were doing an interview with each other.Then we had to write biography on it. You had to, write about childhood, ambitions, hobbies and achievements. Then the next day we had to really interview the person. Because the first one was a tester. I did mine on Jamie’s and I did my on Josh. It was really fun and hard.
