Yesterday at the eco committe we decided what subjects we would work on. We were going to work on three subjects, they were: Waste, Litter and the school grounds. There was a draw between energy and the school grounds. We picked the school grounds because the garden is a complete mess and the energy is not easy to cut down because it takes up more energy to switch everything off and on again than it does to keep it on.By Josh and Karen

Yesterday P6 S/J were doing Health. We were talking about bullying. We looked at a photo cartoon strip about 2 people bullying. We had to make our own photo cartoons in our groups. We drew and wrote on paper. The group who done the best cartoon strip gets to take pictures of themself and go on comic life and make their cartoon on that.
It was really fun to make them.

The boys had to bring a hat.
A man called Barry took us round the Synagogue.
He opened the Ark which is were the scrolls are kept.
The boys stay down stairs and the girls go up stairs but we didn't have time because the traffic was bad.
I think everyone liked it.

Today P6S/J were talking to a school in Edinburgh, The school is called Dean park primary school. We told them about our school and we sang our school song. Dean Park had the same school song as us! We had to wait for them to come on because of the time delay. If you said a joke it would take about a minute for them to laugh. It was really exciting to hear about their school. They had 600 people in there school! and they had 32 in each classes. Sometimes they had 3 rooms in 1 class.
