Today is Non Uniform day.
We don't need to wear our uniform, but we have to bring a bottle for people to win at the Christmas Fayre.
No one in the school needs to wear a uniform, except for the teachers, who have to wear their uniform!

P.4 S had 10 weeks of football training with a Celtic coach and a Rangers coach. It was part of the Old Firm Alliance. William talked to us about being nice to each other and not being horrible because someone doesn't support the same football team as you.
We learned goalkeeping, shooting and how to pass with the inside of your foot. We practiced fast feet and agility. At the end of every session Mark let us play games of football.
Mark told us about the foods to eat to get energy into you faster and that you need 5 - 8 glasses of water every day.
We would like to thank William and Mark for training us. We had a really good time.

Primary 5 have been learning to print.
We used fruit and sponges to print shapes on Carmen Miranda's hat.
We coloured her face tan and we made her face up with coloured pencil makeup.
Carmen Miranda was famous for being an entertainer and wearing colourful fruit hats.

Primary 3 have made a recycling centre.
We collect cans and bags and bring them into school. We then put them in the recycling boxes.
We will send the bags and cans to a recycling plant.
We will make posters to tell other people to send us their rubbish.
The recycling plant will make the rubbish into new things.

P4S have been doing a topic about Glasgow. We found out that there are 118 hills and 72 parks in Glasgow. We had a visit from a countryside ranger to talk to to us about Glasgow's parks. We looked at maps of the Glasgow Underground and found out it goes in a big circle.
There are 612,000 people living in Glasgow and the City Council is there to help the people of Glasgow.
We enjoyed the topic and we learned a lot about Glasgow.

The type of questions we learned about were literal, inferential and evaluative questions.
We found some questions hard and some interesting.
Mrs Rarity didn’t mind if we made a mistake because that will help you learn.
