Today we performed with percussion instruments in front of the school. We performed a piece of music. We played the head and groove and we also did some improvisation.
We used buckets as drums, claves, guerros and cow bells and some off the primery ones put their hands over their ears because it was so loud. Everybody clapped maddly at the end.

Mr Douglas is our music teacher. He came into our school and has been teaching us music since primary 6.

On 21st of December we had a ceildh dance for christmas. We did dances like the Gay Gordans and the Virginia reel. We had to dance in boy girl partners( YUCK!). After that we went into p7 and got something to eat.
At the end we sang Auld lang syne (or as we know it, blah blah blah)

On Friday 26 November Primary 7 went to the Tramway Theatre. There were lots of acts my favourite one was the Brazilian dancers because their costumes were gorgeous and the dances were brilliant. I also liked it because the woman was getting us all to clap and the music was so cool. The other acts were: Russian singers, African Quire, African tin can dancers, Bag pipes, Football training to Samba and Indian dancers. The reason I think this is a good idea because it stops racism and brings countries closer together. It could help to stop killing, arguing and fighting.
