Reciprocal teaching is when the children teach each other. P6 have reciprocal teaching every afternoon with Miss Darub. We use stories and make inferred questions. They are questions that you have to look for clues in the text for the answers. In P6 we are reading a Sherlock Holmes: The Red-Headed League.

On Thursday the 16th of September primary 7 went to Mount Vernon Park for a fun run.

Lots and lots of people were there; at least 800 took part in the fun run. It was cold and rainy and the grass was wet and slippy and lots of people fell because it was hard to run. When the man blew the horn for us to start it was like a stampede because everybody was pushing through us. A man from radio clyde was playing music while we were racing.

Antony Kelly from Sandaig primary came 2nd place out of all 800 people.

Miss Burnet was moaning because her toes were freezing. Our head teacher Miss Mccarthur came up and gave Antony a medal for coming in second place.

Everyone enjoyed the fun run and we were given gifts to remind us of the day and to remind us not to take drugs.
