We ended the term with a bang, video conferencing with the De Rank Primary School in the Netherlands.
On the TV you can see the De Rank children, with some of us in the top left hand corner. We introduced ourselves to each other and sang a song. It was very exciting to finally make contact with a school hundreds of miles away. Luckily the Dutch children speak very good english.

School's in Russia don't have enough pencils, books, jotters etc. So Michael the story teller is going to give them some equipment but he has no pencils so we are raising some money to buy some special Sandaig pencils that we can give to Michael to give to children in Russia. We estimate that one pencil costs 20p so we bring in 20p's to help them. We started this on Monday of this week we are going to get something written on them like Hi or something like that. We think they will like it very much.

On the 7th of June P6 went to Early bras in the morning and P7 went in the afternoon to plant wild flowers. Some of the flowers were called Meadow Cranesbills, Orange Hawkweed and Oxeye Daises.
We were spilt up in to 5 groups and got a trowel to dig with. There were men that took a group to work with. We dug holes and put the plants in them. We used up all our plant there were only enough left for the P7 so everyone got a big game off hide and seek. We were running through the trees as if we were monkeys so we were all stung by nettles. It was very enjoyable.
