Bubble and Squeak are two little otters whom we have been sending money to for 5 weeks we have £212.03 already. We have little otter banks to put the money in, they get empted every week and it is primary 5s job to count the money up. The reason we have been sending them money is because their mother was knocked down so now they are in Hessilhead wildlife rescue trust. You can read about Bubble and Squeak at the Hessilhead wildlife website. The people that look after them are coming to talk to us about how Bubble and Squeak are doing.

On the 9th of March 2004 P6 went to the Transport Museum in Glasgow. We had clipboards and two bits of paper for drawing and writing things we found interesting. First we went to Kelvin Street, which is a duplicate of a street at the time just before the Second World War.

Next we got a workbook what we had to find the answers, mystery objects, information and design a car. The first page was about cars including a Mini Cooper. We found lots of cool things like 100 years ago the train seats were made out of wood.

At the end we were in a bit of a rush and didn’t get all the answers so we got them when we got back to school.

This is a small experiment in the use of a weblog (What is a weblog?) in a primary school.

A weblog can be all sorts of things, this one is going to start as a diary and link list by staff and pupils of Sandaig Primary. We will find out what to put on it as we go along.

At the moment the only people that can post are me, and from tomorrow primary six pupils. It is easy enough to change this when we get a feeling of how this will work out.

Also at the moment we are using the standard 'out of the box' layout and appearance, this might change.

If you are interested in Sandaig, please come back soon, we will be trying to post interesting entries regularly.
