Today the school football team went to Lochend Community High School to play a football tournament.
Our first game we won! Jordan scored a chip goal.
In our second game we also won. We won 4-2. Jordan, and Jack scored. Paul was in goals and made a few good saves.
Our third game we won 3-2. It was a close exciting game. Jordan scored a last minute goal!
In the final we lost 2-0. We were disappointed we didn’t win the trophy but we were happy with our silver medals.
Our next game is a week on Tuesday, wish us luck!

We have been doing a world war 2 project we had four weeks to do the project. I have learned lots of facts about world war 2 like children were effected as well as adults. I enjoyed doing the world war 2 project l would like to do it again in future. Some of it had to be written and some had to be typed we also had pictures and diagrams.
About one month ago, we were assigned a personal project and it was on world war 2. We were given a sheet with certain categories on the war. They were: why the war started, The countries that were involved in the war, Air raid precautions and shelters, Evacuation, Rationing, The Clyde-bank Blitz and how the war ended. We also had to add in our own categories but you only had to do this if you wanted to try and get better marks on your project. The one I found most interesting was the category I added in was Important people during the war but there was a lot more interesting things. To find out this information I used books and the Internet.

We have been doing a home project called world war two for a month.I have been using the Internet and looking in books I found it very interesting because I found out about my great grandpa and I also went on a trip to the peoples palace with my dad.I am very proud of my project and I hope that it is good enough for a certificate.My project is very colourful and I was working on it almost every night.I would love to do more projects like this in the future and I am sure other people will to.
Today we were taught how to do Judo by a professional coach. First he taught us some Japanese words because that’s where Judo was created. Then he told us an interesting fact he told us that Judo has been in the Olympics since 1964. It was a good thing to know because we are doing the Olympics as our topic. After that the teacher taught us how to pin your opponent but he said that we had to be gentle because Judo is a gentle sport. Finally we had a turn to try the techniques with our partner. We all tried our best to do the techniques and we did it successfully. Then after we did that we got told to go to different sides of the giant mat girls got put at one side and boys in the other. Then we got taught how to flip our partner so that they fall and then we had to pin them. Eventually, we got to try to defeat our opponent but we had to sit back to back and then when then teacher said the Japanese word for start then we started. It was really fun and I hope we do it again sometime.

Through the book sale we have purchased many books because of peoples generousity every class in the school has been able to get new library books. P7 have got lots of books, the Hunger Games seems to be the most popular book in p7. The book sale was very successful we raised about £160. After the sale we sent all the extra books to charity and I think that was very kind of us, the book sale was a very good way to get new books.

P5 have been doing a topic about the Romans.We were split into 5 groups .In the 5 groups we chose a partner. You and your partner had to choose a challenge. Nasser,Demi and Johanna made the Roman Soldier. It was really fun. Becky wrote a biography about Julius Ceaser. Jamielee and Samantha made a tortoise out of shields a pretection that the Romans used. Nasser,Callum andAlex made the mosaic it was really hard for them but they got through in the end. Louise and Craig researched about Haidrians wall.We are all enjoying doing the roman topic.
Today we interviewed Ava and Cody in p2/1. We were asking about the new school lunches. Ava said that she prefers the old school lunches but Cody said that he likes the new one’s best. Cody’s favourite meal is the spaghetti but he also likes the sandwiches. Ava’s favourite meal is the chicken burgers but she also likes the hotdogs. Both of them think that the school lunches are good and tasty.

Last Monday there was a new dinner school with new food. Everybody liked the new food all you heard was can I get a tuna roll or chicken tikka. My Favorite meal so far as been the tuna roll because I like tuna and its healthy for me. I think this is a good idea because it is healthy for everybody in the school and I think they feel the same way to. By Kiera
