Hi I’m Tiegan and I’m giving an update on the Holland trip. It is Tuesday and we went for a boat ride with a school today. They have houses made from very small bricks and they ride bikes around everywhere with them. Today they took us on a mini boat, it was a speedboat! We were riding around the whole Zanse Shans river. We had a great time! There was a lot of people there and we got to go shopping. The dutch kids were showing us around the place and when It was time to go we had to say goodbye to the dutch kids. We then had time to look around the shops and we even got to see how clogs where made. The man showed us how you carve and shape, then carve the inside of them out. He ended making the shoes and telling us a little about them and how they are so comfortable and how everyone used to wear them when he was a kid. When that was finished we all went to go get something to eat and to drink as we had brought our own money. We all spent our money on the things we wanted and almost every single person there got clogs! Anyway I think what we are all trying to say is that WE LOVE HOLLAND!
Hi its Becky and Heather with our Holland update today. We went to Zanse Shans and saw lots of things such as animals and how clogs are made, then we went on a boat trip. The first thing we did was go up on a massive bridge and you could see lots of windmills. Then we got our lunch, which we found quite strange because there was a chocolate sprinkle roll with butter over it and there was an ordinary roll with either ham or cheese. Then we split up into groups with some Dutch children to show us around the village and after that it was free time which we really enjoyed because we got to do whatever we wanted and we got given 5 euros each so went in the souvenir shops to buy some stuff. Then we went to the clog making factory which was full to the brim with clogs and we saw the diamond clog. The man made a clog right in front of us which took five minutes. He used a machine that was 75 years old .We all got a picture in the big clog and then it was home time. WE REALLY ENJOYED ZANSE SHANS!!!!!!!!
Hello, this is Ryan. On Monday night we went to the beach. Jack , Logan, Darren and myself all played hide and seek and we slid down the sand. Dillon done a back flip and landed on his feet. Pete and Mr. Dempsey played rugby and Harley played football. After the beach we got an ice cream and I got a slush, then we went to the hotel. Me, jack and spencer are in a room so we watched tv and then went to sleep. The next morning we got up for breakfast, it was great, there was tea, milk, orange juice, cereal, toast and butter, jam and nutella. By Spencer and Ryan .
Hello this is Dillon from p6 this morning we had our breakfast then we went to the Windmills. When we went off the bus we went to a building. Inside we went to watch a short film about the windmills. Then we sat on grass and this man came out with his clogs on his feet so we got to ask some questions. Then we went to the Madurodan which is a miniature village. We went to the play park and saw lots of fish in the water but one had died. Then we had our lunch which was nice. We saw the Holland football team on the big screen and the actual trophy they won at Euro 88. It was great.
Hi my name is Scott from p7and we are in Holland! We had to stay overnight on the boat. There was a singer Shaun Kilpatrick and he did a lot of songs and the girls and boys in my class were dancing. At dinner last night we had a buffet. A lot of people had curry, BBQ ribs, and other stuff. People went to bed at 11:15. Now we are getting off the boat and going on to the bus and we are going to the windmills.

We got off the bus and had our tuck and then played in the play area. We also went to an area with all these amazing statues. As you see in the photo I am standing in the spot where people can get married. Well that’s all for now, have a nice time. Hi mum hi dad.
